Social Soundmachine is an interactive tabletop, on which people can create music together. It’s like a game!
This video was originally created to illustrate the possibilities of Social Soundmachine to the jury of the Dutch Design Awards finals.
It was selected for the official DDA Exhibition, presented at the Dutch Design Week (Eindhoven, NL – October 2009). It was part of the Best of Dutch Design exhibition at the red dot design museum (Essen, DE – April/May 2010) and the Shanghai International Creative Industry Week (Shanghai, CN – September 2010).
In 2011, this resulted in the public-accessible multitouch DJ tables at the restyled Lido Club of Holland Casino.
